I care about the web community and the awesome people who work really hard to create great tools, resources, and ideas. If my knowledge and experiences can help just one person get excited about web development, design, and/or engineering then I know I have helped to add one more great mind to the ever-expanding awesomeness that is the web.
All my presentation slides are open to the public to learn from, review, and probably make fun of when they become dated.

Advanced WordPress Meetup The Advanced WordPress Meetup is a monthly round table session to share and learn about advanced WordPress topics. I regularly attend and contribute by helping out moderate the 10,000+ member FaceBook group. I will be sponsoring the November 2014 session.

A retrospective on my participation in the global Zoohackathon 2018 event and how my team utilized WordPress to create a Google Chrome Extension and win the San Diego chapter event.
I introduce Ionic (an awesome tool to make hybrid apps using HTML, CSS, and JS) from a technical standpoint, diving into how easy it is to get started, communicating with APIs, and how I used it in a hack weekend event. The second half of the slides launch into a workshop that I ran at the event, giving the group hands on experience with Ionic.
